Home Energy Conservation Program

Lower your utility use by 10-20% and keep your family healthy and comfortable!

Drafty homes can increase health risks and utility use. The Home Energy Conservation Program provides free minor home energy improvements for low-moderate income homeowners in the Sacramento area.

Our trained Installers will improve your home with free energy upgrades. Increase the comfort in your home and save energy.

Let us improve your home’s energy efficiency by applying window and door weather-stripping and caulking, replacing lighting with energy efficient CFL or LED light bulbs, insulating wall plates, and by installing water saving shower heads.

These minor improvements can increase comfort in the home, reduce greenhouse gasses by up to 1 ton per home annually, and help lower utility use.

You can fax your completed application to 916-731-7077 or mail it to P.O. Box 255584, Sacramento, CA 95825.

If you have any questions, please call Julie at 916-455-1880 x 0.

Average wait time is 2-4 weeks.

The Home Energy Conservation Program is a joint effort of the Sacramento Association of REALTORS® Charitable Foundation, the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District, Rebuilding Together Sacramento and Sacramento Municipal Utility District.

We have a very high customer satisfaction rate, but if you are unhappy with the services received, complete and submit the attached form.
