Facility Projects

We believe that supporting our neighbors in need means supporting not just homeowners, but also community-focused organizations like local nonprofits and community spaces.  When nonprofits spend less on overhead and facility maintenance, they can invest more in programs and fulfilling their mission. That’s why Rebuilding Together Sacramento designs volunteer projects not only for homes but also for community facilities. Our contractors and volunteers have helped meet a wide range of community needs—from installing flooring at an after-school center, to planting gardens at a food bank, to setting up playground equipment in a neighborhood park.

Community Facility Projects
With the support of our sponsors and volunteers, Rebuilding Together Sacramento can assist with a variety of facility improvement needs, including:

  • Accessibility upgrades
  • Yardwork and garden revitalization
  • Debris removal
  • Interior and exterior painting
  • Basic carpentry
  • Shelving and storage solutions
  • Safety-related improvements
  • Skilled building repair
  • And more!

While our resources are limited, we strive to complete at least one community facility project each year. With additional funding and support, we hope to expand our impact and help even more organizations thrive in safe, welcoming spaces.
